This two hour webinar will look at:
What are lichens
Where can we find them
How to classify lichens
& basic steps you can take to start identifying lichens
A mix of live talk, in the field videos and photography will aim to give participants some basic knowledge about these tiny marvels that most people never even notice. I’ll introduce a simple methodology to help you start identifying lichens when you’re out and about and the session will be full of interesting facts and top tips to help you engage & enthuse people about lichens.
The sessions will be done via Zoom webinar and all participants will be emailed a lichens glossary and resources data sheet.
The session is run by Kelvyn James who is a working IML, a bit of a geek and a member of the British Lichen Society.
£2 from each ticket is donated to the Wellness Walks program run by Mental Health North West CIC
