Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on single pitch crags and climbing walls. Common activities undertaken by Rock Climbing Instructor will be roped climbing and bouldering. This scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.
About
Our training course will be held on a mixture of crags, each of a different rock type. This will enable a full and varied RCI training course that will give you extra experience in setting up anchors. All aspects of the syllabus will be covered with extra time built to re-address the topics you want to concentrate on. The course will be based from Arete Centre. The residential option is for self catering, catered accommodation may also be possible. You can add on self catered accommodation at £15 per person per night or £30 per night fully catered. - please enquire to info@aretecentre.co.uk
