A day/evening (1pm to 9pm) of navigation coaching aimed at Trainee Summer Mountain Leaders as they prepare for their assessment. The day will be delivered by Sandy Paterson, an experienced trainer and assessor of both the Summer and Winter Mountain Leader.

We will start off the session off with a short chat in a cafe before heading out on daylight and navigating into the dark. We will look at the skills and strategies needed to successfully navigation in poor visibility as well as the standard expected of a Summer Mountain Leader
