Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on single pitch crags and climbing walls. Common activities undertaken by Rock Climbing Instructor will be roped climbing and bouldering. This scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.

Come and join us for a relaxed and informative Rock Climbing Instructor Training set in the Dartmoor National Park.
During the three days we will visit some of Dartmoor and Devons amazing crags as well as a day in the climbing wall
The course will run 9am to 6pm each day and the exact format and locations will be confirmed a few days before once the weather forecast has been published.
Volunteer Leaders: 10% discount.
Scouts, Guide and DofE Please email us to discuss as we will need confirmation from someone that you are a volunteer.
MTA Members: 10% discount.
