Scrambling skills for Aspirants / skill fade- Full Day

Managing a variety of situations within areas of steep ground, including movement coaching and providing confidence, to anchor selection and emergency use of a rope. Time may also be spent looking at management of sections of fixed equipment.

Equipment

General kit: Clothes to be remain comfortable whilst operating outside for the whole day, these MUST include: Long-sleeve top and gloves.

Other notes or information

Helmet and mountain boots are recommended, but not compulsory.

Travel/parking required if travelling to the Ogwen valley -dependant on group aspirations

Points are only accredited to Full and Associate members of the Association.

Provider info

Active IML and MCI, based between North Wales, Scotland and the Alps. Alex regularly works as an International Mountain Leader/Expedition Leader and a Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor. Alex also has experience of working on IML Summer Training and Assessment courses.
