How do we work the Pinn? The Inaccessible Pinnacle is a chokepoint on the Cuillin, with traverse teams, Munro Courses and day teams looking for their Insta pictures it can be a busy place.

 

This workshop aims to draw on the experience and knowledge of those attending to review different ideas of safety and efficiency. We will look at access and egress of Sgurr Dearg, In Pinn route choices and protection, belay options (2 pitches or 4 pitches etc) Abseil vs Lower, different abseiling/lowering options and teamwork.

 

All those attending should be confident in working on the Pin solo (without belay)
