A one-day course for trainers with relevant previous experience in managing a wide range of visits in the UK and overseas who wish to deliver the Off-site safety management course to their own groups. The OSSM training the trainer course is designed for those working with both young people and adults where they are required to plan, manage and evaluate off-site safety policies, procedures and activities for visits both in the UK and abroad. It is particularly appropriate for teachers, lecturers, trainers and youth workers who are seeking to develop their knowledge and skills in safety management. It is also relevant to those seeking compliance with the British Standard, BS 8848 - the specification for the provision of visits, fieldwork, expeditions, and adventurous activities, outside the United Kingdom.
