Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to lead hillwalking groups in summer conditions on mountainous routes not requiring the planned use of a rope. Established in 1964, this was the first qualification created by Mountain Training.
About
This course will be based in the Bethesda area to give great access to the mountains. This course will be directed by Sam Benson and I will be working on the course myself too. We always aim to create a relaxed environment that allows you to have a great time and feel comfortable to ask questions.
The course will be run from Cab Cysgu which is a perfect base as we will be able to walk from the door at times. The price per night at the bunkhouse is £20.
