The workshop will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm Saturday 21st September..
This workshop is open to providers, course directors and any course staff involved in the delivery of Mountain Training walking and climbing leadership schemes, as well as the skills schemes who wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in the delivery of these schemes.
On Saturday 21st September we will meet at the The Iron Room, near Tring station at 9.30. We may be outdoors for part of the day.
Workshop start and finish times will be coordinated to tie in with train arrival times. Attendees are encouraged to use public transport where possible.
Sessions throughout the workshop will include an update on the Mountain Training awards pathway; practical activities and discussion of any issues related to the delivery of the walking and climbing schemes, exploring any relevant topics that have arisen from candidate feedback and quality assurance visits, the walking and climbing schemes reviews and a discussion on the use of CMS.
The workshop is non-residential. The cost doesn't include lunch.
