WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
This workshop looks at the thorny issue of whether a Mountain Leader can work within the scope of their award on Helvellyn's Striding Edge and Swirral Edge. We'll discuss the legal implications of this, typical work offered to freelancers on Helvellyn, common misconceptions, route choices, etc. This isn't a ropework refresher. It's also NOT a mini-MCI or a 'sign-off' from a technical advisor - although this service is available via private arrangement with Graham Uney.
This workshop is only open to qualified Mountain Leaders and those who have done the ML training course.
EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED
Please bring kit appropriate to lead a group on Helvellyn.
CATERING/FOOD
