Please bring usual outdoor kit, a packed lunch and flask/drink, pen and paper, smartphone and a GPS device if you own one. It will be possible to borrow one.
The workshop will be delivered by Chris Newton-Goverd. Chris has over 25 years experience working & teaching in the mountains and has specialised in the modern use of GPS devices and technology. Chris lived and worked in Spain for 20 years where local mapping was less reliable and GPS was a vital part of safe navigation. Chris holds the IML, WML and MCI awards.
