Award Description
The Development Coach scheme is designed for people who coach groups and/or individuals for an extended period of time.
About
This two day training course is aimed at the independent and autonomous coach, who is likely to oversee the progression of students over a period of time.
The role of the development coach is to structure a progression in delivery and practice in order to facilitate the development of climbers.
The course includes subjects such as; Climber Centred Coaching, reflective practise, questioning, long term climber development and developing a better understanding of Technical, Tactical, Physiological, Psychological ‘TTPP’.
