WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
n a world where diversifying income streams to maximise your skill set and create opportunities, we invite you to join our ‘pole walking webinar’, and take a deep dive into how two Nordic Walking Instructors who are also International Mountain and Lowland Leaders have used Nordic Walking to aid their own health and wellbeing, and create successful businesses. This is a great opportunity to ‘pick their brains’ on how ‘walking with poles’ has helped them and their businesses; whilst providing fun and adventurous outdoor experiences.
Nordic walking is an activity that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age, ability and fitness level. The technique offers many wellbeing, health and fitness benefits and opportunities, and can appeal to a broad range of users - from people who may find walking challenging to ultra eventers to students working on DofE!
This on-line workshop will explore how becoming a Nordic walking instructor can open up a new client base and income stream for walk leaders within the lowland, hill and moorland, and mountain environments. You will understand how the Nordic walking technique differs from just using walking poles and the potential benefits of delivering Nordic walking alongside your other activities.
