Reach That Peak is based in the Chilterns and all our courses are easily accessible by train & tube.

The Camping Leader qualification covers the skills needed by leaders to supervise camping from road accessible campsites. It is the perfect accompaniment for leaders supervising Duke of Edinburgh groups.

Assessment course prerequisites:

• You must have personally undertaken and logged an absolute minimum of five overnight camps, ideally in a variety of contexts
• You must have assisted with or overseen at least two group camps.
• You must be familiar with the syllabus
• You must be an experienced self-sufficient camper
• You must have experience of the supervision of camping groups
• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must have completed an eight hour, face to face first aid course

Once you have registered for the scheme you will be sent a link to an optional online training resource which will help you familiarise yourself with the Camping Leader syllabus and you will receive full joining instructions for the assessment.
