Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to lead hillwalking groups in summer conditions on mountainous routes not requiring the planned use of a rope. Established in 1964, this was the first qualification created by Mountain Training.
About
The ML summer assessment course is a 5 day practical assessment run from Ghyll Head OEC. We have been a provider of Mountain Training courses for many years and offer a supportive assessment with a focus on providing an environment for learning through the process.
Please get in touch if you are interested in joining us. We can offer accommodation in our pod village on site.
Options to be non residential.
There are clear course pre requisites which we are happy to discuss with you if you are unsure.
