Award Description

This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.

We have been teaching climbing as a centre for over 60 years so have a great pedigree for using climbing walls and for training climbing instructors. We are able to lend out all equipment that you may need or want to try for free.

Our centres introduce around 10,000 peole to climbing each year on our climbing walls which include two indoor and outdoor towers, two dedicated bouldering rooms and two mobile walls.

This course will include the Abseil/Top rope module.
