Come and spend a weekend at this amazing hut run by the Derby-based Clogwyn Mountaineering Club. It's just inland from Porthmadog, nestling beneath Cnicht and the Moelwynion, between Penrhyndeudraeth and Beddgelert. Tremadog is very close by.
Arrive Friday when you can get there, and make your own supper arrangements - there are full catering facilities at the hut, there is a pub ten minutes away in Garreg village, and further pubs are a couple of miles away in Penrhyndeudraeth. Bring your own food for pack up lunches on the hill. Saturday and Sunday basic breakfast is provided, and a CELEBRATION FEAST will be cooked by your Regional Co-ordinator on the Saturday evening.
The programme is relaxed, and you are welcome to join us on the hill to practise your skills. We will discuss people's wishes and requirements on the first evening, and shape the days accordingly. If people decide to do their own thing in the light of circumstances (weather, for instance!), that will be fine too.
There will be the possibility of extra nights before and after the weekend - let me know.
To cover the cost of the accommodation and catering, we ask you to pay a mere £35 for the weekend.
KIT
Usual kit for mountain days, including waterproofs, extra layers, food and water for the days on the hill, your own first aid kit and meds - as with all peer-led events, you are responsible for your own safety.
BOOKING
We're not set up for online payment, so if you want to come, press the 'Enquire' button, and I will get back to you to arrange about payment and process your booking.
