Award Description

This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.

To attend the assessment you'll need to have completed the CWI training (or RCI training and been granted exemption) and fulfilled the requirements below: 

• 30 climbing wall sessions.

• 40 lead climbs.

• 15 sessions supervising.

• Hold a valid first aid certificate.
