Welcome to our Mountain Skills 2-Day Course in the Lake District, designed specifically for women, LGBTQIA individuals, and underrepresented folks. This inclusive course offers two fun-filled days packed with essential outdoor skills, a good laugh and empowerment.

  • Fun Days in Nature: Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of the Lake District while learning valuable mountain skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Comprehensive Training: Gain confidence in navigation techniques, from map reading to compass use, ensuring you can navigate safely and effectively in any terrain.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Learn about what to do in an emergency situation, and more importantly preventing one from happening!
  • Walking Skills: Master the art of efficient and safe walking on various terrains, including pacing, posture, and footwear selection.
  • Mountain Leader Qualification Pathway:  This course can be used as a stepping stone  towards obtaining your Mountain Leader qualification, with guidance and insights for those considering this career path.
