Award Description

The Climbing Wall Instructor Abseil (CWI Ab) module, is an optional module undertaken by those involved in the Climbing Wall Instructor scheme. It's aim is to train and assess people responsible for supervising abseiling from climbing walls. Some Climbing Wall Instructor providers will offer the Abseil Module as part of the main training course if the facility they are planning to use is appropriate.

CWI Abseil Module Training with Arrampica (trainer Martina Spisiakova))

This abseil training runs after the standard CWI training module, but can be attended separately.

Please note the full CWI Training course runs over two days and the timings and venue are as below.

CWI Abseil module  - 16.00 - 20.00 (follows Day one of CWI Climbing training)

XC Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Jarman Park, HP2 4JS.  

Hemel Hempstead is a 24 minute train ride from London Euston.

Please wrap up warm for the XC, it's a great venue but it can be cold at any time of the year.
