The workshop will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm Friday 16th May.
This workshop is only open to providers, course directors and any course staff involved in the delivery of Mountain Training Hill & Mountain Skills and Rock Skills schemes who wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in the delivery of these skills schemes.
We will be outdoors for part of the day and finish by 4.30pm.
Attendees are encouraged to use public transport where possible.
Sessions throughout the workshop will include an update on the Mountain Training awards pathway; practical activities and discussion of any issues related to the delivery of the skills schemes, exploring any relevant topics that have arisen from candidate feedback and quality assurance visits, the walking and Climbing schemes review and a discussion on the use of CMS.
The workshop is non-residential. The cost doesn't include lunch or refreshments. Should you wish to book accomodation please contact Blue Peris Mountain Centre.
