Peak Adventures delivers structured hill and mountain skills training in Scotland and the north of England, with an emphasis on sound judgement, safe movement and practical learning in real mountain environments.

We are an approved Mountain Skills provider with Mountain Training, delivering 2 and 4 day Mountain Skills courses within nationally recognised UK training frameworks. Our courses support walkers progressing from summer hillwalking into more complex mountain terrain.

In addition to summer training, we also deliver Winter Skills courses in the Cairngorms , helping hillwalkers transition safely into snow and ice conditions with instruction in crampons, ice axe use, winter navigation and terrain assessment.

Beyond formal training, we run guided wild camping experiences and classic ridge days across the Cairngorms, Lake District and other UK mountain areas.

Our focus is on developing capable, confident and self-reliant mountain travellers — whatever the season.
