Brief bio - Phil has over 35 years experience in the mountains of the UK, Europe and Asia. Holds the Mountain Leader award, JSRL, JSRCI, is first aid trained and has an enhanced DBS.
I cut my teeth so to speak in the mountains of Eryri where I grew up and started climbing at a silly early age after watching Joe Brown on the OU on Sunday morning TV. I spent some time in the early '90s in Spean Bridge before moving to the Far East and returning to the UK in early 2000 and much fun since and in between.
I will always allow you to develop within your own ability rather than work from a prescriptive list. There are so many different ways we can approach the problems we face.
