A life long hiker and traveller, I'd been leading groups of friends, colleagues and charity events for decades before I discovered, late in the day, that there were qualifications for this! Consequently ML was fairly quick to achieve and I'm now working on WML and IML with an eye out for RCI and then MCI. Based in Eryri (Snowdonia), I guide professionally on a part-time basis, am a trustee for the Snowdonia Society, active committee member with Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue supporter's group (333) and hold down a day job in publishing.
I'm a friendly, empathetic and experienced mountain leader who is always learning, loves being with people and sharing my love of the upland environment with them.
