I started walking in the Lake District as a child, with my family making annual visits based in Keswick between the ages of 4 and 13. During this time, I visited many areas of the fells, but have little memory of this hence its omission from this log. However, this was the beginning of a passion for the mountains and exploring. From here, my experience broadened to youth camps with walks on Dartmoor, with further walks in the Lakes. It wasn't until 2014 when I began exploring independently, venturing into Brecon, Snowdonia, and more committing walks in the Lakes. Now, combining this background of basic hillwalking with leadership skills gained from Paddlesports (South Coast based kayaking and paddleboarding for ABC Watersports), Outdoor Instructing (Bushcraft, Team Building, ILM Leadership courses, Caving and Climbing at Outposts Ltd., Black Rock Ltd.), as well as medical experience (St John Ambulance and BSc Paramedic Science), allows me to move into more committing areas in the UK and abroad.
