All Files detailed below are in the format from my BMC Folder and show my walking experience from when I first joined the BMC in 2003.
I have however been Fell Walking since the late 1970's, when in the early days I concentrated on Long Distance Walking, having completed many Lyke Wake Walks (including a solo double), Rosedale Circuits, White Rose, Crosses, Fellsmans, Bullock Smithy's, Billsdale Circuit, Howarth Hobbles, Calderdale Hikes, Centurions, Yorkshire Three Peaks, Lakeland 3000ft & Welsh 3000ft summits as separate rounds, and the Great Britain Three Peaks as a separate round.
I have completed all the Lake District, Peak District, Northumberland, Northern Pennines, Yorkshire Dales, Cheviot, and Dartmoor 2000 ft summits (Nuttalls).
In addition to these areas I have spent time in the Highlands of Scotland, Snowdonia and the Cadair Idris area of Wales.
Also in addition to the International areas shown, I have climbed Mt Fuiji (2004) and Mt Blanc (1984) and have spent time Trekking in the Austrian and French Alps, Switzerland, Spanish Picos, Pyrenees, New Zealand, High Atlas - Morocco, and the Macgilly Cuddy Reeks in Ireland.
I have had twenty years experience with the Holme Valley Moorland Rescue Team, from 1979 to 1999.
In addition to personal walking I now spend a lot of my time training Scouts (where I am a Group Scout Leader) in Navigation, fell walking and expeditioning, and also DofE where I am a validated Expedition Assessor up to Gold standard.
