I live in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire and I first started leading walks with HF Holidays in the 1980’s when he was a student and then a Maths teacher.This stopped when my wife Dorothy and I were bringing up a family but once the children had left home, I qualified as a UK Mountain Leader and returned to walks leading with HF. Now that I have retired from a second career in IT, I am enjoying leading in the UK, in Italy and in the Alps where I can continue to improve my Italian and German.
