Mt Fuji (3776m)
Chiba Prefecture
Midnight start from No. 5 station up pumice slopes on well defined path to summit caldera for the sun rise. Great views of the into the crater and the sun rise was perfect but the crowds were oppressive. its also strange to find noodle houses on top of a 4000m mountain!
