Description

The `mountain` we always pass on the route to Wales, that we finally climbed...to see what is there.
Rodneys Pillar from Criggion and over to Middletown for a pint at the pub and back to Criggion via forests.
24km
Phenominal scars on landscape from quarrying which is ongoing.
Very muddy in forest and got `lost`. We knew where we where it was just that the paths were soo muddy they were impassable and finding an alternative route proved challenging as places were overgrown.
Awesome vies from Rodneys Pillar across Shropshire and Wales, good route for Moutain Club.
At Middletown route goes past beautiful church and through people`s back gardens.
Forest challenging to navigate in and some very steep hills.
