Description

Took Andy out for his first ever outdoors experience along with Gav. A very busy Rosyth gave us this climb first which wasn't ideal for Andy but I was pleased at how smooth I made it

Area : Lowland Outcrops: Fife

Lowland Outcrops: Fife includes the trad climbing on the outcrops between the Firths of Forth and Tay as described in the SMC Lowland Outcrops guidebook. There is climbing on the dolerite quarries at North Queensferry and Rosyth, and on the natural dolerite at the very pleasant sea-cliff of The Hawkcraig. In addition the unusual limestone blocks of Limekilns provide many good and popular climbs.
