Sean is a very well mannered, fun individual who also puts the group first so that all can have fun whilst being safe with excellent practice. Sean has a unique style of teaching which keeps every one interested and gets all the important parts through to his clients. Sean take safety to the highest level of his ability at all times and every session I have been out with him, he has been safe, clear on instruction an most importantly his group has had fun.

Sean is experienced and competent climber who exhumes a passion for the sport. Sean coaches a number of clients with degree of focus that is rarely seen, ensuring that needs of clients needs are met and the session objectives are met. In summery I would happily let him instruct & coach my kids - he is a safe & secure instructor with a good depth of knowledge.

I have known Sean for 4 years through his occasional employment as a freelance instructor at EICA Ratho where I hold the position of climbing instructor supervisor. Sean conducts himself as a professional with excellent verbal communication skills and delivers his instruction with a structured and considered approach. He takes his own personal development seriously and is always keen to find out about new developments and opportunities for progression. Activity sessions that I have observed Sean running have always been appropriate for the client, interesting, fun and safe. I would consider Sean as a suitable candidate for the CWLA scheme.

Sean has experience in instructing, coaching and leading of groups of all ages and experience; I have personally observed his indoor classes where he shows a real flare for coaching; this is reflected in the enthusiasm and ability of his students, some of whom are as young as 6. A excellent communicator and organiser, Sean meticulously plans his sessions, ensuring that he has everything in place for the session to be enjoyable, fun and progressive for the students; very enthusiastic, Sean is passionate about his personal climbing and his coaching, always looking for ways to improve his personal climbing and his coaching ability. Sean is a enthusiastic, confident and more importantly safe and competent climber, instructor and coach and I have absolutely no reservations endorsing Sean for CWLA training.
