Description

Very fingery crack with a hollow flake at the crux! Aptly named: the top gear was so insecure, it just lifted out... :o

Area : Clwyd Limestone Trad Routes

The limestone crags of Clwyd are situated on the escarpment above Llangollen. UK Climbing says of Pinfold Crag in Llangollen, ‘A magnificent group of crags offering the visitor a great variety of climbing in all grades. Wall climbing, jamming cracks sport routes, lunatic fringe routes, and even some aid can all be had here.’ There is also a gritstone quarry at the far end of the escarpment, often used by groups.
