Cloud base 700m, strong winds, freezing rain. Hartsop, Hayeswater, Grey Crag, dropped down to Hayeswater comb, along south side of Hayeswater and back to car. Left the map in the car which didn’t help, strong winds and sleet prompted a retreat into the shelter of the comb and a visit to Keswick to buy Nicky an early birthday rucsac!
