Sunny and very hot. Waddington family – 4 people. Vénosc, Les Deux Alps, Le Puy, St. Christophe-En-Asians. I did an early start and took the car to the end and cycled back to the tent. The cable car gained us a lot of the height, then it was a fantastic walk along the rim. Some of the way had cables for added security, and the zigzag descent added a lot of time. We were very glad to get to Le Puy where we could cool off and refresh the water bottles. The kids did really well.
