Description

Starting at Llamberis town, we walked to below Crib Goch were we scrambled up the ridge using ice axes and crampons for protection. we also were semore climbing for extra protection especially after the cloud began to come in. After reaching the Crib Goch summit we turned west towards the summiot of Snowdon, with use of crampons we were able to walk up to the summit. Thereafter turning back and heading back down the Pyg Track reaching the main A4086 road and walked back to Llanberis.
Navigation and map reading was used throughout the day.

Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa, pronounced [?? 'w?ðva]) is the highest mountain in Wales, at an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "probably the busiest mountain in Britain".[3] It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
