Three days via ferrata with seven mates.
Day one, took the groste cable car to the second station, and followed the Brent 1 to get to the tuckett refuge. Easy day, 4 hours beautiful weather and the cable really was only needed if you are a nervous person. High altitude.
Day 2. Did the classic route the bochette alte, sadly the weather did not play ball and it rained all day, hardly any views an very slippery. We did have a moment of thinking we had overshot the hut and joined the next days route as it was a long day, 8 hours, upon reaching the alimonta refuge realised we were on track and the day was much longer than we anticipated.
Day 3. The bochette centrale. After an initial blast up the glacier, cpampons were not needed, greeted with most amazing views I`ve seen yet. The route was fantastic, airy, exposed but easy and great fun . blue skies hot weather and lots of other people. One of my favourite days on the mountains. Instead of staying in the hut we had moved quickly so opted to head straight back down to Madonna do campiglio.
