Description

A day spent working 1:50 nav in the decent weather. Looking at the shape of the hills and what that means on a map. I really struggle with 1:50 and was having a bit of wobble today trying to get my head around everything. Steve was super patient and was happy to wait around while i got my bearings. He also helped me work on some more rope work.
Finished off the day by ascending the west side of Lliwdd. Pretty awesome little scramble route over the rocks. Was good steep ground work too.

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
