Description

QMD Day walk
Navigation away from paths
Scrambling
Using multiple features for identifying own location
Micro nav to a number of points that were recommended to me by Will Kilner (MIA), 7 points given, found 5 of these - the other two I purposely missed out in favour of chatting to a walking couple on the way down.
Excellent weather - clear views for miles. Windy at the top, getting stronger on descent.

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
