Description

Private Client Day 2. Led Bob D, taking the most direct route up the North Ridge (testing ability as we go), including the high layback step, and the North Tower. Returned via Heather Terrace, where I was able to talk a little bit about the classic climbing routes. Came down the Staircase to Little Tryfan and along the drover`s lane back to Milestone Buttress parking.

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
