Description

From wild camp bellow the pap of Glencoe we headed up onto the ridge joining Sgorr nam Fiannaidh t start the traverse of the aonach eagach. The cloud was down during the ascent but cleared as we came to the summit of the first Munroe. traversed the ridge and made a descent into the coire before Am Bodach down to Kinlochleven where we stayed at a campsite due to the weather forecast deteriorating

Area : Glencoe North (Loch Leven To Rannoch Station)

This area covers the northern side of Glen Coe and the mountains north of Rannoch Moor. Notable features include the Pap of Glencoe, the Aonach Eagach ridge (home to a few kilometres of horizontal scrambling) and the remote peak of Stob na Cruiache which is generally accessed from the train station to the east. Includes all major peaks above 600m.
