Description

Partly because of the weather but also because we beasted ourselves the day before, we decided to embark on a lower level walk, we joined the west highland way and took the route over allt nathrach and onto the beinn na callich where we found some of the contour features we finished the traverse then descended to the west highland way for an easy route back to kinlochleven. The forecast turned out to be much worse than the actuall conditions on the hill

Area : Glencoe North (Loch Leven To Rannoch Station)

This area covers the northern side of Glen Coe and the mountains north of Rannoch Moor. Notable features include the Pap of Glencoe, the Aonach Eagach ridge (home to a few kilometres of horizontal scrambling) and the remote peak of Stob na Cruiache which is generally accessed from the train station to the east. Includes all major peaks above 600m.
