17.7km, 1550m. 10.00-18.45. Strath Farrar, North West Highlands.
Cloud base 980m dropping to 850m with rain from 17.00.
Got through the gate just after 9am and drove just beyond Inchvuilt GR22332 10.00. Followed the stalkers path all the way to the main ridge, Sgurr na Fearstaig 13.10, Sgurr Fhuar-thuill 13.30, Creag Ghorm a'Bhealaich 14.00. Nicky and I split at this point with Nicky heading south overGob a'Chairn to pick up the stalkers path back to the van. I continued along the ridge to Sgurr a'Choire Ghais 14.40, Carn nan Gobhar 15.30, Sgurr na Ruaidhe 16.20, and met Nicky at the van GR283386 18.45.
A great ay with Nicky who was wearing a brand new pair of boots (old ones carried in case) who felt confident enough to head down with Sapphire allowing me to complete the ridge (and be picked up at the far end). Fantastic.
