A very enjoyable day with Fer. From lovely Almageller hut to pass, then crisp neve to S ridge. This was just a scramble on solid rock with a couple of moves of II, no rope required. Then photogenic narrow snow arête to summit. Down by normal NW flank route to Hohsaas. This was straightforward but could be quite risky due to big crevasses & seracs. We were clear by about 9am but others just starting up as we nearly finished.
