I took 13 people up to Monte Pic starting from the middle station of the Seceda Cable Car from Ortisei. We traversed around on path 8 but then I found the path blocked by a digger and a hole so I had to come up with a diversion. This involved making the walk a little longer and losing quite a bit of height but not missing out on some excellent views. We then went on to the Troier Hutte and descended via the Col Raiser Cable Car. All had a good day but were very tired. A short section of my diversion was rather exposed and with hindsight I think I would have been better off making the walk shorter rather than longer.
