From Selva/Wolkenstein, I took the service bus to Passo Pordoi and went up the Cable Car to the top and onto the Sella Massif. I walked around to Piz Miara, bypassing Piz Boa as I`d done it before. Incredible views!!! I followed route 676 down to Rif. Cavazza al Pisciadu but this involved a difficult cabled section with one bit more unprotected than I would have liked. Some via ferrata kit would have come in handy. Also scree runs and snow patches even though the path was just a dotted line on the map. [Note to self...].
I then decided to play safe and follow 676 again as this was a dashed line but this too included long cabled sections but more stable, straightforward and enjoyable. Unfortunately I missed my bus and just got back in time for our evening HF briefing via the Calfosch lift, a 10 minute dash and the last Dantercepies cable car down! An incredible day out!
