Description

Climbed as a pair with Stu, ahead of Ali with Guide Aspirant, Ross Hewitt.
Got held up. Father and son having a nightmare: father insisting on leading really long pitches - which meant terrible communication.
Plus young guide and client. Guide leading like an ass. Not placing gear. Client had no nut key. Stu had to lower a rope which I put a nut key onto, with which he removed the nut. Then, at the letter box, client had let the rope fall into the mountain, which would not release it. Stu had to cut their rope. Rope management matters!
Finally we got through the traffic and blazed up. Continued on scrambling terrain to Aig de Peigne
