Description

Exped phase of the JSMTC MLT. Wednesday 24th jan 2018 was security on steep ground day. Thursday students planned the exped. Started at Gelli Lago, Llyn Edno, Moel March, Carnedd y Cribau camp @Llynau Diwaunedd tents up and the conducted a night nav. Friday 26th Jan 2018 we then headed up to the summit of Moel Siabod heading back to Jims Bridge for river crossing drills.

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
