Started Glan Dena. Hoped the head wall at the top of Cwm Tryfan would still be intact. Even though most had gone, the consolidated snow was easily walkable without crampons. Headed up the miners path, then north to Glyder Fach. Headed past Castell y Gwynt, and dropped down toward cwm Cneifion/Senior`s ridge. Judging the small patches of ice more hazardous than uniform snow, I decided against this route and instead contoured around to Llyn y Cwn and descended by devil`s kitchen, past Idwal, then cross country back to the start.
