Description

Started from car park in Two Bridges (SX609750) and headed north following track that leads from the old quarry. Left trail and climbed via Littaford Tors, Longaford Tor and HIgher White Tor. Continued North to Lower White Tor and aimed for the walls north of Brown's House. Headed West to Rough Tor and Devils Tor and then south towards Lydford Tor. It was very wet up here and saw lots of Drgaonflies as well as ponies by the small lake (SX597788). Continued S to Beardown Tors and then picked up the footpath alongside the Devonport Leat. Walked through Beardown farm back to the car at Two Bridges. Really nice day and a contrast to the day before! This was the last day of this trip and we found that centre of Dartmoor is really stunning - will be back
