BROAD CRAG - GREAT END
Starting from middle fell farm, walking along the Cumbria way and branching of west towards angle tarn, from angle tarn we walked to Esk pike then to the saddle before ascending to great end, from Great end we traversed to broad crag below the craggy area as conditions were icey.
Ice axe and crampons were vital. Reasonable warm so the snow was slowly turning into a slush, visibility was compromised at times.
